thinking of home: daydreams of a painter moving 14 times in 12 years

picA friend asked what home meant to me, and I shrugged off the question. I knew what my studio meant, and my family, and my dog. But home?
OK, maybe home is just a place somewhere with a studio and a kitchen, a doggy bed and a people bed, a bookcase, two computers minimum…
But home is supposed to be more than just the stuff and the space that you need— home is a special, personal place, or a special feel that a place can take on. I resolved to paint that.
